General Description This fitting is specially designed for 1000-liter plastic tanks (also called IBCs or GRVs) used for collecting, storing, and using rainwater. This fitting attaches directly to the valve of your 1000L tank, allowing you to connect a garden hose and thus facilitating garden maintenance. If your valve has an internal check valve (WERIT type valve), you will need to use an S60X6 threaded extension between the valve and the fitting to prevent jamming during tightening. This fitting is not suitable for cam valves, as the number of threads is insufficient for a leak-proof connection.
